TeaSpoon Cafe: Valenzuela’s secret haven

One cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one has not dined well.

Few days ago, I received an invite to an event. Honestly, I was hesitant at first to come considering the event’s location and time. I had a lot of stuff to do during that day however the person who invited was too persistent that I got swayed easily specially when he mentioned the free transportation expense ha! Not only I met a set of individuals who shares my passion but I got to tag along my two friends.

We arrived at the venue quite late (because of me) and hangry but oh well, who cares when you have food waiting for you to devour? Told  you so.

During my researched, I found out that there are two “TeaSpoon Cafes”, one is in Pampanga and the one is in Valenzuela (which I visited). At first I thought they’re just one because both of it are cafes and the menus are quite similar however the two cafes are different and I got confused for a minute how did it happened but oh well I am not an intellectual property lawyer so I’ll just leave it be.

TeaSpoon Cafe was founded last July 6, 2017 by Ms. Christy Tan, her husband and her brother-in-law. It was a spur-of-the-moment on why they decided a cafe but they said they wanted something that people can easily go-to, a place where family and friends can get together and celebrate. Yes, the cafe caters all kinds of people: whether you walk in with your pajamas or in your high fashion clothes the staff will acknowledge you fairly.

The cafe is a two-storey building with a very homey ambiance however Ms. Christy mentioned that it’s not finished. When she told us about her husband’s plan on the interior my mind went crazy like, seriously it’s not finished yet seeing the interior is way way done through my eyes hahaha but I can’t question him knowing he’s an architect.

The location is quite far for someone like me who’s situated in Makati but nevertheless in the near future if I’ll be swinging nearby I sure am will definitely pay a visit. The cafe opens from 11:00 in the morning until 11:00 in the evening, EVERYDAY to not confuse the customers and visitors who wants to pay a visit.

Now on to its food — the cafe not only served delicious food but it is also very affordable, meaning even students can afford it. There’s a lot to choose from its menu and all of it are available once you order, why? Because there are other cafes even restaurants whose menu aren’t updated that will leave its customers hanging when ordering something but it isn’t available or too pricey from the menu rate reflected.

From the many choices of food I ate during that day, my favorites were the “4-Cheese Pizza” and the “Binagoongang Bagnet” which I’m sure you will like it as well. Didn’t I mention the servings just about right, not too small and not too many for one person.

To TeaSpoon Cafe, congratulations on your one year milestone! It’s a great accomplishment especially in this day and age when it’s so tough to succeed with a small business. I know there will be many more years of success and service to your customers. It’s been a pleasure to be invited on your special day and I’m looking forward to many collaborations in the following years.
