When in LaUnion – 2016.07

Due to boredom I sent myself to La Union. ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚

It was Friday and was very tired from the day’s happenings. I was contemplating on whether I’ll go on an adventure or stay. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Mind can’t describe well. A solo traveler friend of mine invited me to go with her to La Union on that very day. I was very indecisive. Was saying NO to her then later on said YES then NO again. HAHA until my wandering self decided it for me.

Perhaps you know by now what my decision was… ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. I’ve also been hearing a lot about Tangadan Falls lately. That would be my one of my top two things to do there (next to surfing) when I finally have the chance! Do you know which accommodations are cheaper than The Circle Hostel? Or are there any at all? Thanks for the ideas! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Hi joser thank you. Be sure to visit there during off peak since the falls get crowded. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. La Union is my surfing first love, but I have not been around much. The last time we were there, we were stranded in the apartment not knowing that San Fernando was in a state of calamity because of the storms. I’d recommend El Union for desserts, or just for chilling and coffee. ๐Ÿ™‚ Glad to know you had a nice time! ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. Haha! Love when you said that you got bored so you went to La Union. I’m always bored myself that’s why I’m always on the go and looking for stuff to do on the weekends. This is definitely a place I can see myself spending a weekend…hiking, waterfalls and nature all in one package.

    Thanks for the inside scoop

  5. Don’t you just love random trips?! They are usually the ones that become more memorable and because of the spontaneity, we are more open to whatever the trip brings. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Being spontaneous is really nice! Sometimes, I say to friends that I will go and then not go. I wonder if they are mad at me for doing so, nevertheless they need to understand me! ๐Ÿ˜€ I have never googled La Union before. Thanks for this wonderful and detailed guide! See you soon, somewhere.

  10. Yes! I agree that La Union will not be La Union if you will not chase its waves! Although a bit challenging than that in Baler, it’s a must-try! La Union is now an emerging tourist destination up north (and is just 1 hour 30 minutes away from Baguio City!) Thank you for sharing this! ๐Ÿ™‚
